I first got into his work when buying the great magazine called Deadline. I starting buying it soley for his cartoon strips Tank Girl.

He has since then become a virtual pop star by creating the fantastic band members for the virtual reality rock band Gorillaz. The “virtual band” has four animated members: 2D (lead vocalist, keyboard), Murdoc Niccals (bass guitar), Noodle (guitar and occasional vocals) and Russel Hobbs (drums and percussion). The Gorillaz web site is very funny. Lots of witty animations and illustrations.

He then unearthed one of my childhood/teen favourite characters – Monkey to design the BBC’s official Bejing Olympics music/teaser.

Much praise to the top bloke…

2009-10 season

However this season has been as terrible as I can remember!

I am thankful that with my poor excuse for a memory I will soon forget how bad a season it has been.

Lets hope the LFC powers that be (in there wisdom) don’t sell Torres over the summer. He does not come back from the World Cup with another injury whilst playing for Spain. Whilst in the meantime we remove the rubbish from the team and swap it for so decent players.
